I started pole dancing while I was in graduate school in 2012 and began instructing in 2013. I found challenge and growth within Flow’s community and it became an integral part of my work/life balance, and has continued to evolve as I recently became a new mom. I love working with a wide range of students from beginners shaking out their nerves of first walking through the door to advanced working on things they never thought were possible. I love supporting our students as they grow and change within their individual goals whether it be strength and tricks, body confidence and sensuality, or building community and positive relationships. And if you want a theme or costume brought into class I am all about it! I also enjoy challenging myself and supporting others in pole competitions and showcases.

My stage name is Minnie of Trix and I've been with Flow for just over 2 years, starting as a student with past pole experience and as and instructor in 2022. I started my pole journey in 2008 as an alternative to just going to the gym to help me lose weight and it was so fun and impactful to my body that I stuck with it and began instructing in 2010. I've found that helping others "get it" and being able to help it click gives me so much satisfaction. Pole has given me not only a physical outlet, but a way to mentally fortify my confidence level in any situation. As an instructor, I like to teach the technical aspect of ensuring the basics are done right or close to right so it eliminates the need to undue behavior that will work against you in the tougher moves as you progress. My style is more fitness and tricks than dance but I love a good body wave. Favorite tricks to teach would be Superman since there are so many entrances and Apprentice as it builds a lot of core strength and is a great non-invert transitional move. I love to travel, I've also been on 25+ cruises and to 35 countries. I also own The Cultivated Voyage travel agency which has thrived since 2019. I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter and I love love love food in general but bread, cheese, and wine or a good craft cocktail are my go to!
