Welcome to Flow Fitness Studio.  My name is Cheri Billingslea and I am the Co-owner of Flow Fitness Studio, along with my husband Mondo.  I am a certified AFAA Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Trainer, and Zumba Instructor. I am also one of the instructors for Pole Dancing and sensual Flow classes.  I created this studio because I have such a passion for fitness as well as working with women to develop a better body image of themselves inside and out.  As a mother and wife myself, I know how challenging it can be to find time for "me".  You know...YOURSELF...that woman that is buried deep down inside of you, the one you use to know!!  We dedicate so much of ourselves to our family, friends, work, and don't forget the house that we will put ourselves on the back burner until we have time.  Well it has taken me about 10 years of doing that to realize that although I love giving to everyone and making them happy, I had lost myself in the process and I felt dead.  So, I made it a point when I turned 30 that I was going to find her again.  I have been on that journey ever since and I have finally found peace with my life.
So how does pole dancing come into play here? Well…I have a true love and passion for dancing! I have always felt awakened and alive when I dance. When I was introduced to pole dancing I was totally amazed at the fluidity, beauty and power of movement these ladies displayed while flowing from move to move. I have not met a woman yet, who doesn’t feel empowered and energized after a pole dance class. There is nothing better than feeling sexy, strong, and confident while having a group of supportive women cheering you on! I promise that you will laugh and have more fun than you ever imagined possible while you are getting into the best shape of your life!

Mondo Billingslea

Hello Ladies!  My name is Mondo Billingslea.  I’m the CEO/President of Billingslea Consulting Group, LLC. (BCG)” and I Co-own Flow Fitness Studio along with my beautiful wife Cheri.  We are the proud parents of 2 wonderful sons, Justin and Jason.  I’m a certified AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) personal trainer and I’ve been involved with martial arts and athletics for most of my life. My true passion resides with “coaching”! I’ve coached and trained football, baseball, and basketball athletes in the Wilmington area for over 7 yrs. I take great pride in motivating and challenging all of my athletes and clients to be the best they can possibly be.

My philosophy is simple… “Start by doing what’s necessary, then what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” I believe this to be true with every fiber of my being! One of my past collegiate football coaches defined INSANITY as “doing the same things over and over again while expecting different outcomes”. I also believe this statement to be absolutely true. My goal here at Flow Fitness Studio is to motivate you Ladies into doing the “impossible.” I will constantly change and vary your workouts by using explosive plyometric movements, real-life self-defense tactics, sustained cardio-tempo exercises, etc., to create mass muscle confusion and cardiovascular fatigue, which will undoubtedly produce a tremendous calorie burning effect and provide a vast increase in overall stamina & physical performance! Don’t worry ladies, if you aren’t quite ready for high impact, explosive cardio workouts, I can very easily scale and customize a workout just for you! It doesn’t matter what your beginning abilities are, I can design workouts for each and every one of you ladies out there. CORTNEY HAMM

My name is Cortney Hamm and I am certified personal trainer through NASM(National Academy of Sports Medicine) and a group fitness instructor specializing in Boot Camp Fitness.  My passion and love for fitness has grown since having my child 8 years ago.  My body was not the same and I had to be consistent and stay motivated to loose the weight. The gym bored me and I needed something different. I started doing group exercise classes daily and became disciplined after noticing some changes in my body.  Since then I have become very passionate about helping others achieve their lifestyle goals.  It’s not about the right diet or a magic pill.  It takes time, effort, and consistency.  I am wholeheartedly dedicated to helping others achieve their goals by challenging, motivating, and coaching them to reach their full potential and then some!  I love to see women empowered by doing something they never thought they would be able to do.  Just because you can’t do something right now doesn’t mean you will NEVER be able to.  Come and take a class and I guarantee you will be hooked!

  

MARIE CHEESEMAN

Hi, my name is Marie Cheeseman and I teach Zumba classes at Flow Fitness Studio. My background is in fitness and nutrition. I have a BS degree in dietetics and hold an AAFA certification in Group Fitness. I have taught several fitness formats including step, high impact, low impact, and muscle sculpting. I’m always looking for new challenging ways to stay fit and Zumba is a fun and excellent format for cardio, core strengthening, balance, and muscle conditioning all in one class. I combine latin-inspired rhythms ,pop, and a little rock with a combination of dance and fitness moves. Come join the fun, but bring a towel. You will SWEAT! See ya soon!
